Every now and then, at fairs, models with strange colors appear. In the first instance it often seems to be home-made because often the quality of the paint leaves something to be desired. But nothing is less true, because on closer inspection the bottom plate shows that the model was made in Brazil. The molds were sold to this company in the 1980s, which produced models in South America for years.
The value of these models is often higher because they are fairly rare in Europe.
